Mattie Sue Barlow passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven, Mississippi. She was a retired nurse who worked during her career in hospitals, nursing homes, and the Mississippi Division of Medicaid.
A graveside service will be held at a future date at Beauregard Memorial Cemetery, Beauregard, MS. Mattie Sue was born and raised in Copiah County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wilkie and Jennie V. Barlow; brothers, James Wilkie Barlow and Robert Glen Barlow; sisters, Nell Duckworth and Frances Barlow.
She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Hyatt, of Gainesville, Florida.
