Services for Nellie Elizabeth Barlow, of Wesson, were 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Beauregard Methodist Church with burial in the Beauregard Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Service in Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barlow, 74, died Feb. 3, 2006, at Peach Belt Nursing Home in Warner Robins, GA.
She worked a the Wesson Potter Co. for many years. She had resided at Peach Belt Nursing Home in Warner Robbins for the past two years. She was a member of Beauregard United Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert G. Barlow Sr.; her father, Eddie Vanderbilt McGee; and her mother, Bernita McGinnis McGee.
Survivors are her son, Robert Glenn Barlow Jr., of Warner Robbins; her daughters, Barbara Hood, of Warner Robins, Brenda Smith, of Wesson, and Linda Balentine, of Baton Rouge; a sister, Lellon West, of Hazlehurst; seven grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.
