Funeral services for Henry Batton, 73, who died suddenly at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. A. White, in the Flour Bluff community, will be conducted in Rockport, Miss.
The body will be taken there today, accompanied by Mrs. White. Mr. Batton had been visiting here since February.
Mr. Batton is survived by five daughters, Mrs. H. A. White of Corpus Christi, Mrs. J. F. Nabors of Carlsbad, N. M., Mrs. Creighton Norman of Rockport, Miss., Mrs. Harry Qualls of Wesson, Miss., and Miss Elizabeth Batton of Philadelphia; three sons, Burnell Batton of Houston, Wyatt Batton of New York, and Augustus Batton of Rockport, Miss., and one brother, Jeff Batton of Wesson, Miss.
