Services were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Carterville Baptist Church for Mrs. Alice Aldridge, 83, who died unexpectedly at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at her home on RFD 2.
Rev. Ralph Bray and Rev. Robert N. Smith are the officiating ministers. Burial is to follow in Carterville Cemetery with Hulett Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Aldridge had lived in this area for 31 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn D. Smith, Grand Island, Neb.; six sons, Oscar E. and Robert B. of Hattiesburg; Henry L. of Detroit; Coyle E. of Biloxi; Denson G. of Gulfport; and Alton T. of Bridgeport, Conn.; 18 grandchildren including J.O. Mayo of Hattiesburg.
