A Mississippi Genealogy & History Collection
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hulett Chapel for Alton T. "Runt" Aldridge, 48, of Houston, Tex., who died Saturday afternoon at his home. Burial will be in Carterville, Cemetery.
Mr. Aldridge was a former resident of Hattiesburg and had lived in Houston for four years. He was a 1963 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and member of Delta Sigma Pi fraternity. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and was office manager of Shipp Sales Co. of Houston.
Mrs. Aldridge had lived in this area for 31 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Louise Bryan Aldridge; a step-daughter , Vicky Greenwalt of New Orleans; two brothers, Denson of Gulfport and Henry of High Acres, FL; a sister, Mrs. Glenn Smith of Sun City, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
