A Mississippi Genealogy & History Collection
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home Chapel for Bonnie Jean Anderson, 82, formerly of Brokklyn, MS, who died Nov. 14, 1990 at Miramar Nursing Home in Pass Christian.
The Rev. Earl Harvison will officiate. Interment will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Brooklyn United Methodist Church, the Brooklyn Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of the Brooklyn Volunteer Fire Department. She was a native of Columbia and a lifelong resident of Forrest County.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Hix Anderson, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Herschel Shattles, C.L. Dews Jr., Chester Smith, J.S. "Bill" Shaw, Tom Boone, and Walter M. "Pete" Denton.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy A. Regel of Gulfport; two sons, Ellis N. Anderson of Dothan, AL, and Hix Anderson Jr. of Brooklyn; one brother, Robert L. Johns of McLaurin; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.
