James Anderson dies at age 48
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Riemann Funeral Home, Gulfport, for James E. "Ted" Anderson, 48 of Gulfport, a native of Brooklyn, who died Friday at the Biloxi VA Hospital. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Anderson was a graduate of Mississippi State University and had lived in Gulfport several years.
Survivors are five brothers, Ralph and Hix Anderson Sr. both of Brooklyn, Barney Anderson of Gulfport, Hyugh Odom of Nice, CA, and Archie Odom of Hattiesburg; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Perkins of Brooklyn, Mrs. Ruth Brewer of Kerrville, TX, Mrs. Doris Nixon and Mrs. Inez Turnage both of New Augusta.
