Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Clear Creek Methodist Church near Brooklyn for William Frank Morris, 57, who died suddenly at his home on Route One, Brooklyn, Wednesday afternoon.
The Rev. C.F. Gerald will officiate. Interment will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery with Hulett Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Martin, an active church and community leader, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Shattles Martin; one daughter Mrs. Charles Sellers of Brooklyn; three sons, I.R. Martin and T.Y. Martin of Whitwell, TN, A.B. and T.Y. Martin of Brooklyn; his father Edward Martin of Brooklyn; two sisters, Mrs. W.M. Broadus and Mrs. J.W. Steele of Brooklyn; a brother, Victor Martin of Toro, LA; a foster brother, J.E. Sims of New Augusta; and 15 grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers will be Archie Sims, Bealus Shattles, Marvin Mixon, Clarence Walley, Marvin Breland, and Vaster Sellers Honorary Pallbearers include J.w. Steele, R.W., J.R., and G.M. Shattles, W.M. Broadus, and J.B. Walters.
