Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon for Mrs. Roxie Ford Sumrall, 27 years old, who died at the South Mississippi Infirmary at 9:30 p. m. Thursday. The services were held at Bennett cemetery with the Rev. D. A. Hogan officiating.
Mrs. Sumrall's infant son died Wednesday and was buried Thursday in the Bennett cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, O. C. Sumrall, Hattiesburg, route one; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Ford, of Vicksburg; three sons, John Q., Charles E. and William C. Surmall and two daughters, Roxie Elaine and Gladys Irene Sumrall, all of Hattiesburg, route one; two sisters Mrs. Laura Mae Liest, and Miss Annie Pearl Ford, both of Vicksburg, five brothers, G. W., Virgil, Eugene and Robert Ford, all of Vicksburg, and Ferrell Ford of New Mexico.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of Wright Funeral Home.
